Brownlowe (formerly Lowe Brothers Extensions) was formed by Lowe Construction to cater for the local demand for quality renovations and extensions to homes in our beachside suburbs that have become so valuable. We do not employ sales staff. The person who comes to your home is Peter Brownn.
Peter has been involved in the building industry for over forty years and is a Platinum member of the HIA (Housing Industry Association).

Brownlowe is always focused on the design, purpose and budget for the renovation and will work to bring the client’s “wish list” and the budget together for the best possible result.

We believe that the relationship between the client and the builder is paramount. Peter and Joanne will guide you through the concept and design process and will also manage the site and supervise the project from beginning to end. A successful project for us is when the client is happy with every aspect of the finished job.

Depending on the size of your renovation, we may use our professional drafting service for designs and working drawings and Brownlowe also uses a professional estimator to prepare a Bill of Quantities for your project, from which we prepare our fully detailed quote and specification. This method of estimating makes it possible to isolate areas of the job that may have pushed it over your budget). The end result of this relatively inexpensive process (the cost of which depends upon the size of the proposed job) is a concept plan that has been worked through several options to achieve the best possible result and a budget estimate which provides you with an accurate cost. During our initial meeting, we would discuss the necessity (or not) of using our designer and estimator. Any fees incurred for the designer and estimator would be reimbursed to you if you choose to use Brownlowe as your builder.
