Peter Brown
Thirty three years ago Peter joined the HIA. Peter’s apprenticeship was with DR Swan and Sons of Rathmines Road in Hawthorn. At the time, it was Victoria’s second oldest building firm and unfortunately closed down after 143 years in the building industry. Peter has worked in the building industry in many parts of world and joined Lowe Brothers Constructions in 2001. At the time, Lowe Brothers had grown to such an extent that the renovations and extensions side of the business required full time attention, hence the establishment of Lowe Brothers Extensions (now Brownlowe). Peter enjoys being involved in the design of the project and always oversees the project with the clients’ budget in mind. Peter says “I’ve been fascinated with the industry for 40 years now. I love the science of building there are so many aspects to it. There is always a way of finding out how to do things just that bit better”. Peter is a past President of the Chelsea Rotary club. |
